Conference: “Hegel’s Doctrine of the Concept (200th Anniversary Conference)”, London, 6th June 2016

We are glad to inform that the Hegel Society of Great Britain supports a conference that is timed to coincide with the 200th anniversary since Hegel’s 1816 publication of ‘The Doctrine of the Concept’, Volume II of the Science of Logic.

The conference will cover the main themes from all three sections of that volume (‘Subjectivity’, ‘Objectivity’, and ‘The Idea’) and will look to give presenters and attendees a chance to discuss and engage with some of the latest research on the Doctrine of the Concept. Each talk will involve time for discussion.

Information about the programme and the guests can be found here.

Date: Monday, 6 June 2016 from 09:30 to 18:00 (British Summer Time).

Place: Department of Philosophy, University College London – Seminar Room (1st Floor) 19 Gordon Square, London, WC1H 0AW, United Kingdom.
