We are glad to give notice that a Call for Papers for the VI Congreso International de la Asociación Latinoamericana de Estudios sobre Fichte (ALEF) on the topic Fichte en las Américas / Fichte nas Américas is open until November 1st, 2020. The event will be held online from April 14 to 16, 2021.

The topic for this VI International Congress Fichte in the Americas intends to be an invitation to explore the reception of Fichtean thought in our territory, to discover affinities and fruitful crossways between Fichte’s ideas and those of American thinkers, as well as to promote discussion about the prevailing lines of research, the original interpretations produced in our territory and the way in which these developments are linked to those formed in places usually considered as central for the production of philosophical knowledge.
Submission of title and abstract (250 words): until November 1st, 2020.
Announcement of the list of participants: November 15th, 2020.
Congress dates: 14-16 April, 2021.
Since the event will be digital, participants will be required to submit their papers in advance: until March 10th, 2021 (5000 words maximum).
Accepted languages: Spanish, Portuguese, English, German, French and Italian.
A selection of the presentations will be published in a collective book.
