The XXXV (2022) volume of Studi Kantiani will host a special section dedicated to Kant and Environmental Ethics. The topic is broadly construed to include contributions that tackle this problem from different angles. We welcome submissions that focus on the interpretation of Kant’s works, asking whether there is space for anything like a concern for the environment in them. We also seek papers that defend a Kantian approach in current debates around environmental ethics.

Invited contributors:

Angela Breitenbach (University of Cambridge)
Helga Varden (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign)

Papers must be prepared for blind review, removing all self-identifying references. They should not exceed 50.000 characters (spaces included) and must include an abstract of 1.500 characters and key words.
Papers will be selected through a process of double-blind review. Studi Kantiani accepts contributions in 5 languages (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish).
