Its aim is to elaborate on its relevance for contemporary discussions in political and social theory and analyze especially the nature of modern Sittlichkeit. We welcome papers on any aspect of the topic. The aim of the papers should be systematic rather than merely historical-philological. The conference aims at stimulating fruitful exchanges between established scholars, junior researchers, and PhD students.
