“Active Passivity”: Martin Seel on the Aesthetic Variant of Freedom

Venice: On March 31st Professor Martin Seel (J. W. Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main) will hold a conference under the title “Active Passivity: on the Aesthetic Variant of Freedom”. Professors Lucio Cortella, Luca Illetterati, Francesca Menegoni and Italo Testa will attend.

The event will take place in Sala Valent (Aula Seminari) at the Dipartimento di Filosofia e Beni Culturali at Palazzo Malcanton (4th floor) in Dorsoduro, Venice.

Professor Seel will deliver his talk in English, while discussion will be held both in English and German. Copies of the talk’s translation into italian will be provided to participants.

The event was organized within the partnership collaboration between the Graduate schools of the University of Venice and of the University of Padua and is part of the graduate seminar “Temi e problemi della filosofia hegeliana”.
