New Hegel’s Lectures found

We are happy to share the news that Prof. Klaus Vieweg (Jena) has found completely unknown transcriptions of Hegel’s lectures held at the University of Heidelberg between 1816-1818 and written by Friedrich Wilhelm Carové.

The new materials were at the Archiv des Erzbistums München und Freising and include a substantial part of Hegel’s encyclopaedic system.

The manuscripts are now to be published by an international team at the University of Bamberg with the assistance of Prof. Christian Illies.

Please find here the news on the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
