We are glad to give notice of the International Conference Gewissheit und Wahrheit bei Karl Leohnard Reinhold which will take place on September 7th-9th, 2022, at the Università di Parma, Dipartimento di Discipline Umanistiche, Sociali e delle Imprese Culturali (Aula Ferrari del Plesso D’Azeglio). The event is organized jointly with the Laboratorio di Filosofia Classica Tedesca lnterateneo Parma-Ferrara.

Al centro del pensiero di Karl Leonhard Reinhold, vissuto a cavallo tra il Settecento e l’Ottocento, c’è lo sforzo di fondare i sistemi filosofici su principi che possano essere considerati certi, e di costruirli secondo la loro dinamica in modo tale da poterli affermare come un percorso di vera conoscenza. La conferenza è dedicata in particolare ai concetti di certezza e verità in tutte le fasi del percorso di pensiero di Reinhold.
