REMINDER, CFA: Padua Kant Workshop – “Concepts, Intuitions and ‘Manifest Reality’”

We would like to remind that the deadline of the call for abstracts for the first Padua Kant Workshop is approaching.

The workshop will take place in Padua from September 11th to 12th, 2017, under the title “Concepts, Intuitions and ‘Manifest Reality'”.
It will be dedicated to the assessment of  two crucial problems in the interpretation of Kant’s philosophy, namely the relation between idealism and realism and the problem of non-conceptual contents, through the reference to Allais’ book “Manifest Reality: Kant’s Realism and his Idealism” .

Lucy Allais (UC San Diego), Anselmo Aportone (Università Tor Vergata di Roma), Dietmar Heidemann (Université de Luxembourg) and Sebastian Rödl (Universität Leipzig) will take part in the workshop as keynote speakers.

The workshop will enjoy the patronage of the Società Italiana di Studi Kantiani.

A call for abstracts is open for presentations in English or German from PhD and young postdoctoral researchers.

Abstracts no longer than 2.500 characters, prepared for blind review, should be submitted to paduakantworkshop@gmail.com.

The deadline for submission is July 25th.
