CFP: The Society for German Idealism at the APA Pacific Division Meeting (deadline 1st September 2018)

We are pleased to inform that the Society for German Idealism will meet at the APA Pacific Division, 17-20 April 2019, at the Westin Bayshore in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The Society for German Idealism welcomes submissions from women and members of minority groups.

Papers must not exceed a length of 3000 words. Include the following ten items in the body of your email and on the first page of your paper:

(1) word count — 3000 words maximum!

(2) author’s name

(3) academic status (professor, unaffiliated, graduate student)

(4) highest earned degree (MA, PhD)

(5) institutional affiliation (if any)

(6) mailing address

(7) email address

(8) telephone number

(9) the paper’s title

(10) an abstract — 100 words maximum!

 

No more than one submission by the same author will be considered.

Email a copy of your paper, as an attachment, in Microsoft Word (.docx) or Adobe Portable Document Format (.pdf) to idealism@lclark.edu.

Label your attachment as follows: YourLastName_YourFirstName — for example, Hegel_Georg.docx

Papers must be received by 1 September.

Papers will be reviewed by a committee. Three papers will be selected for presentation, and each paper will have a commentator. Notification of acceptance will be made via email in early October.

If you would like to serve as a commentator, email idealism@lclark.edu by 1 September.
