WORKSHOP: “Manifest Reality” (Manchester, 24 May 2017)

We are happy to give notice of a workshop on “Manifest Reality” , which will take place at the University of Manchester on May 24th.

The workshop, organised by the School of Social Sciences, will explore themes from the recent book Manifest Reality: Kant’s Idealism and his Realism (OUP, 2015) by Lucy Allais.

12.00 – 13.00: Lunch Break

14.00 – 14.30: Coffee break
14.30 – 15.30: Fraser MacBride, ‘Kant, Categories and the Emergence of Analytic Philosophy’
15.30 – 16.00: Coffee Break
16.00 – 17.00: Lucy Allais, ‘The Compatibility of Kantian Determinism with the Open Future’
